Economics
Economics is a guiding force behind decision making in society, whether that be on a global scale, in business or in the day-to-day decisions we take in our lives. With so much going on in the world around us, the applicability of Economic theory grows. Studying Economics at Alcester Grammar School will not only help you achieve a grade in a well reputed course, but also give you opportunities to develop analytical, evaluative and presentation skills, as well as help you make sense of what’s going on in the news!
In addition to Economics in the curriculum, we also offer extra and super curricular activities to help develop students’ interest in the subject, including a sixth-form run Economics society, trips and competitions.
